HISCOX BEST LAID PLANS

We were approached by creative studio Another Space to develop and fabricate the components for a structure made entirely from beams of light. After a period of experimentation we created over 200 linear meters of light tubes from glass cathodes, LED tape and aluminium channel. To connect the light tubes together we used a series of off-the-shelf fittings and custom designed 3D printed joints. The structure was built at Black Island Studios in London and several iterations of the animation were shot in one day. The animation is currently featured as an ident for Hiscox, shown during Channel 4's Best Laid Plans.
